mbrock.com is my personal web site. I registered the mbrock.com domain way back in 1999 so I could dabble in web development and also so I could have my own email address. Through the years I have hosted this site in my home and with a couple of different hosting providers. I learned to not host the site myself because if my cable internet service went out, then my email stopped working along with it. And no email is a bad thing when you rely mostly on email to communicate with others.

If you want to know about me - I am mbrock. I have a university degree in Physics and I am currently a web/intranet developer by trade. I have been doing computer programming and IT work for about 15 years. I work mostly on corporate intranet sites. I have worked in several different industries over the past 15 years, including the educational, biotech, defense, and banking industries.

In between the corporate world and working on the mighty mbrock.com web empire, I do the whole family thing including changing diapers and taking kids to baseball and soccer practice. I also find time every once in a while to play video games. I am an avid Xbox360 player. I am also an audio/video geek. I have set up several different home theater systems over the years - the bigger the better.
